Creepy 1915-1918 AM. Doll Co "Bertie" composition doll with molded finger-waved hair, hand painted face, green polka dot dress, soft white linen apron, and hand crocheted bonnet.
This straw and cotton-filled composition doll by American Doll Co. is a true antique masterpiece and stunning collectable. There is minor crazing throughout her face and hair along with some missing paint details, small blemishes on the arms, and a couple of heel scuffs on her fabric feet. Bertie also comes with some handmade underwear, so she has a full, complete outfit!
The back of her neck is embossed "AM. Doll Co."
Her body and legs are filled with straw, and the puffed sleeves on her dress are filled with cotton for shape.
